This project looks at the potential impact of the 2018 proposed changes to section 424.12 of the ESA. The proposed changes have the potential to weaken critical habitat designations and allow for economic impact analysis in decision making. Utilizing a geospatial analysis platform I developed a method to analyze the impact economic analysis could have on critical habitat for endangered species.
